Presentation: each student will be required to give a presentation in class. The topic of the presentation is a critical review of a gallery or museum exhibition of an artist you believe to be significant in terms of their structural understanding, the content they are trying to deliver, and the quality of the installation or mounting of the exhibition.
Attention: There will also be a 300 word essay that correlates with the topic of your oral presentation. This will be due on the same date as your oral presentation.
This presentation should be about 15 minutes and should involve a clear analysis of the artist’s work. You must arrange to have images (slides or power point) taken of the work that you are reviewing. If you are concerned about the availability of images on-line, it is best to take a camera with you to the gallery. Be aware of the date of your presentation.
