Join with other fellow students discussing aspects of systems analysis and design. This discussion emphasizes the importance of user interface design and potential issues.

Upon successful completion of this discussion, you will be able to:

• Identify documents and diagrams used in systems analysis and systems design.
• Design an information system using various modeling methods.
• Identify and analyze data entities and domain classes needed in a system.
• Explain the role detail models and techniques play in detailed object-oriented systems design.

Instructions

1. Review the rubric to make sure you understand the criteria for earning your grade.
2. Navigate to the discussion board and respond to the following scenario:
   1. Describe key design components and design activities.
   2. List criteria to determine whether the user interface is successful.
   3. Explain what will make a user interface design become successful.
3. Your initial post is due by the end of the fourth day of the workshop.
4. Read and respond to at least two of your classmates’ postings, as well as all follow-up instructor questions directed to you, by the end of the workshop.
5. Your postings should also:
   1. Be well developed by providing clear answers with evidence of critical thinking.
   2. Add greater depth to the discussion by introducing new ideas.
   3. Provide clarification to classmates’ questions and provide insight into the discussion.
   4. Be posted on three different days during the workshop.
