Discuss the difference between formal and informal assessment strategies.

This week in addition to the discussion questions, post a measure from your DRDP.  The measure will be reviewed by your peers.  We are looking for correct documentation to the corresponding measure – is there enough information documented in order to rate the measure correctly? 

Also, keep in mind that you are expected to include at least five different documentation methods in your DRDP, a few examples are: photos of the child actively engaged in play, photos of work samples, sticky notes, index cards, anecdotal notes, and notepads.  You are to “attach” each piece of documentation to the corresponding measure; you only need one piece of “evidence” for each Measure. Please provide thoughtful responses to your questions – submit in an essay type format with an intro/body/conclusion and you will need to provide one citation or reference in the response.  (Please cite the sources)
