Description
You will create a database and host it either locally from your own machine or online as a server.You
will then fill that database with relevant data for your project. Finally you will build a software inter-
face/client that connects to the database and retrieves and presents (and/or updates) the data is some
novel way. Ideally, it will utilize some of the concepts such as SQL, JSON files, Excel reports, etc.
The project must include:
•Something you are interested in doing personally, professionally, or academically
•The use of a database system (RDBMS or NoSQL)
•A software interface/client that communicates w/ the database to retrieve information
•Data that is loaded to the database ONLY ONCE either before or the first time the application
starts up. And then successive runs of the application connects to the existing database and uses
it. Thus, the database must persist after the application is shut down and it cannot be reloaded
each time the application runs.
