This paper requires you analyze problems regarding the constitutionality of actions taken by correctional system actors.

Write a seven to eight-page research paper in which you address the following:

Pick a topic from Chapters 8 to 12 that is of interest of you.

Using what you have learned from the textbook, and at least three academic journals (you may use Google Scholar or through the ASU library):

Detail the history of the topic, 

Explain which factors impact the constitutionality of actions taken by correctional system actors, 

Include at least one case and one current event (you find a current event through a typical google search) illustrating the constitutionality of actions taken by correctional system actors .

• As an example, you might be interested in the topic of parole.  You would detail the history of parole; you would explain which factors impact the constitutionality of actions taken by correction system actors (i.e. procedures, considerations); and you would detail at least one case and one current event illustrating the constitutionality of actions taken by correctional system actors.
