Phonology Week 8 Discussion Board
When I tried to learn some French, I struggled with pronouncing French nasal vowels because my dominant language, English, does not have nasal vowels as phonemes. Tell us about a similar experience you have had with phonology: sounds you had a difficult time pronouncing in one language because your other language(s) did not have those sounds (I think all of you have studied another language, at least a little… if not, you can think of others you have heard trying to learn other languages and sounds that were difficult for them to articulate).
My other language is Spanish but you can come up with your own
