Read and analyze the decisions for the People v. Rizzo and Commonwealth v. Peaslee on page 289 in Chapter 8 of the 12th edition of Criminal Law. Samaha, Joel (pages 248-49 in the 10th edition). Explain which of the four minority tests for attempt was used to reach each of the decisions. Would the results differ if the substantial steps test was used instead?
