Whether you’re presenting your research in a poster presentation without any accompanying audio or video or whether you’re presenting your research live in person or through a pre-recorded video, many of the content sections will be the same. In general, you will include:

Basic info such as title, author(s), faculty sponsor

A brief introduction 

Purpose/hypothesis

• Method/Methodology (research approach, not a lab or other hands-on experiments)

Results/Finding (your arguments, most likely in the form of topic sentences)

• Conclusion

Start with this useful guide to creating a poster, and view these examples from the last GSURC . Note that these are presented through. Also, notice how some posters are much more effective and visually appealing than others! If any of your sources included tables or graphs, you can include them (with proper citations, of course).  I’m giving you a choice to decide on the technology you’re most comfortable with. Most people are comfortable with Microsoft PowerPoint, Prezi, or Google Slides and can do a screen recording with voice-over (not that you do not have to do a recording). It’s also possible to design a poster with PowerPoint, but Adobe InDesign or Adobe Illustrator is more robust.
