Overview

Healthy People is a key milestone in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention focused on the US population. Sets 355 national objectives to improve the health and well-being of the people. As a Primary Care Healthcare Provider, you are called to integrate health promotion and illnesses prevention strategies into your practice.

Instructions

Develop a Primary Prevention Plan aimed at a particular population with a specific topic. 

The Professor will assign you a topic following those established by Healthy People 2030.

My topic is Infectious Diseases in children and adolescents (no STDs) based on “Pertussis”

3. A Primary Prevention Plan is a formal proposal of strategies aimed at controlling, modifying, or eliminating a health problem in the population that can influence the appearance of a disease.

h.Attachments (you can include a flyer, or brochure to let the population know about the action plan that you develop. Ex encourages the population about a vaccination plan to prevent the disease)
