Research Questions:
1. To what extent do people living in the United States use “high-tech” information systems (e.g., cell telephones, the Internet, on-line shopping; on-line education/training)?
2. In general, are people’s attitudes towards technology, technological systems, and technological develop positive?
3. To what extent are people living in the U.S. concerned about global issues (e.g., haves vs have nots; global warming; recycling; population control; quality of life in general)?
4. Is there as difference in behavior and attitudes based on gender, age, educational level, or region of the country?
Data Analysis:
1. Determine which questions you would combine to develop the variables you will need. Add those columns to the spreadsheet and label each column using the variable name.
2. Determine the statistical analysis needed to process the data. For example, gender can be used as a grouping variable and compare to attitude towards technology using a t-test.
3. Write a final report in which you specify what was done and what was learned. There is no need for a traditional literature review. The main focus is on the calculating and report your findings accurately.
