Human Resources management requires foremost an understanding of people, including yourself. Personality profile assessments can help ensure productivity and cooperative teamwork in the workplace. Several profiles are available on the market to analyze a person’s preferred working style. This week, you will explore different types of personality profile tools to understand more about how they bring awareness to how one works best with other employees with different styles.
Conduct an internet research on popular personality profile tools that are used by HR professionals to analyze employee work habits and preferences. Consider taking a free online personality profile assessment to better understand your own personality and how you operate in the workplace. An example of several tests include the DiSC profile and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
After you’ve conducted internet research, write about the following:
- How could profile tools help you manage people more productively?
- How could using these types of profile tools help you develop employees’ talents to benefit your institution?
