Now that you’ve read and watched several articles and a documentary on activism, what do you think is the future of progressive political action? Think carefully about all we’ve learned this semester and theorize how activism will look given what we know about past and contemporary movements. Remember, we are communication scholars, so directly reference and discuss aspects of communication – verbal, nonverbal, visual, embodied – in relation to political activism. Provide specifics and feel free to discuss hypothetical scenarios.
