The task at hand is a process analysis. A process analysis is simply a list of instructions for carrying out a process.

– Your process analysis should contain at least 7 steps.

– Begin each step with a command verb.

– Use parallel structures for each step. It is easier for the reader to digest the information if you don’t change the sentence structure of the commands.
