Welcome to the discussion for Week Two! Like last week and many to come, this week’s discussion begins with one or more assignments. For this week please go to the assignment, My Leadership Perspective, Research Plan and Outline(attached as a document). From that assignment you are asked to share two drafts (or summaries, outlines, etc.) of your assignments and any reflections or questions you have about them: Your Leadership Perspective and Research Plan. These two parts of the assignment ask, basically, (1) how your role affects your research and (2) how you will involve others in your inquiry into assessing leadership practices in your organization. This reflection is perfect for this format and is likely to result in some excellent feedback from others.
For your initial post it is suggested that you begin with a (1) one or two sentence high-level description of your project, followed by (2) a few sentences on your leadership perspective/role, and then (3) some bullet points on what you will be doing for both secondary and primary research. It really isn’t necessary to share your outline, since those will tend to be quite similar at this point in your projects!
