Natural disasters are often the subject of fiction or nonfiction narratives in books, movies, and television. Identify one of these examples in your own viewing experience and address how the victims, and the responses of others to them, are portrayed. If you have personal experiences, address how these depictions are or are not consistent with your lived experience. Address two ways in which you would improve upon existing responses to natural disasters to be more trauma-informed.
