GU Climate Change Fiction Essay
Description
Utilizing Le Guin’s discussion of how Science Fiction is descriptive, not predictive, analyze and interpret a current Climate Fiction (Cli-fi) film. *IMPORTANT* as with the reading response, do not say “This is what will happen if we keep doing [x,y,z]…” That is prediction. Focus on what it describes about us in the present, not about warning us of some impending crisis.
Consider: What about our current situation is the film playing off of? Our personalities? Our politics? Our lifestyles? Perhaps most importantly: What about our psychology is being displayed in the film?
Be specific. Note specific elements of the film (setting, scenes, dialogue, soundtrack, etc) as evidence.

Geostorm
